Capping a Dog’s Canine Teeth

Bandit is an 2 year old Boarder Collie that had been chewing away at a cage - and eroding the tips of all four of her canine teeth.

She was presented for vet dental treatment - to Vet Dentist

ON the veterinary dental examination all four canine teeth were worn - bit there was no pulp exposure and healthy tertiary dentine had been laid down.

The veterinary dentist with owners decided to cap all four canine teeth to prevent further wear that could necessitate a root canal or extraction.
